What is it
Since 2018, Flagler Habitat for Humanity has offered the children of our Habitat Homeowners a program to reward their good grades while also teaching them about the importance of fiscal responsibility and community service. We hope encouraging these important skills at a young age helps to set up good habits for the rest of their lives!
How it works
Each quarter, students turn in their report cards and are rewarded for As and Bs in core classes. The students have opportunities to earn bonuses based on perfect attendance, increasing their letter grades and by saving some or all of their yearly rewards. Completing a predetermined number of community service hours is required for the savings bonus. There is also an opportunity for our graduating seniors to apply for a scholarship!
